Role Description

The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring LG’s advanced HVAC technologies are correctly implemented and supported through detailed engineering, site supervision, and professional communication with consultants, contractors, and clients.

The role demands strong engineering expertise, a deep understanding of VRF systems, and the ability to deliver high-quality technical service and project performance in alignment with LG’s global standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform HVAC system design and engineering, including heat load calculations, equipment selection, ducting and piping layouts, and system configuration based on project requirements.

Review, validate, and approve technical drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and BOQ documentation in accordance with design standards and LG product specifications.

Provide on-site technical supervision and guidance to contractors during equipment installation, start-up, and commissioning stages.

Conduct system performance testing, air/water balancing, and fine-tuning to achieve optimal efficiency and comfort conditions.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC and VRF system issues, providing root-cause analysis and corrective recommendations both during installation and post-handover.

Deliver technical presentations, product trainings, and hands-on workshops to consultants, contractors, and service partners to enhance product knowledge and system reliability.

Support pre-sales engineering by reviewing system designs, preparing technical proposals, and ensuring compliance with ASHRAE and local building codes.

Prepare technical reports, commissioning documents, and handover packages for completed projects.

Coordinate with LG’s regional technical support and R&D centers on escalated product or design issues.

Ensure all site works comply with safety standards, quality requirements, and LG installation guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC design, technical engineering, and site supervision, preferably within VRF and central air conditioning systems.

Strong command of HVAC system design tools and software such as HAP, Duct Sizer, Pipe Sizer, and AutoCAD (Revit proficiency is a plus).

Deep technical understanding of VRF systems, air handling units (AHU), fan coil units (FCU), chilled water systems, and ventilation systems.

Solid knowledge of ASHRAE standards, HVAC codes, and local Jordanian regulations.

Flexibility to travel within Jordan and occasionally to regional projects in Levant.
