Job Vacancy: Barracuda WAF Security Engineer

We are a leading technology company specializing in digital systems and cybersecurity solutions.
We are currently seeking a Barracuda WAF Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Amman, Jordan.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and operational support of Barracuda Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions, ensuring secure, stable, and high-performing application delivery environments.

️ Key Responsibilities
Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Barracuda Networks WAF solutions.
Design and implement WAF security policies, rules, and protection profiles tailored to enterprise applications.
Manage and support Load Balancing, Reverse Proxy, SSL Offloading, and High Availability configurations on Barracuda platforms.
Monitor and analyze Barracuda WAF logs, security events, and attack patterns, and respond to incidents effectively.
Collaborate with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to enhance application security and system performance.
Ensure availability and reliability of production environments protected by Barracuda WAF.
Troubleshoot network and application issues related to HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and TCP/IP in Barracuda environments.
Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, incidents, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
– years of experience in WAF / Network Security / Infrastructure Security roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Barracuda Networks WAF (mandatory).
Deep understanding of Web Application Firewall concepts and security best practices.
Experience with Load Balancing, Reverse Proxy, SSL Offloading, and High Availability using Barracuda or similar solutions.
Solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
Proven experience in analyzing security logs, attacks, and operational incidents.
Experience with Azure, Application Gateway, or F is a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience working in enterprise and mission-critical environments.
