Civil Site Enginee

Hussein Atieh & Sons Co. (HAE) is seeking to hire a Civil Site Engineer to join its team for the Rehabilitation of Irrigation Networks Project in Ghor Al-Safi, Jordan Valley.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
* – years of experience in the construction of water supply, wastewater, irrigation, or treated sewage effluent (TSE) networks.
* Good knowledge of pipeline construction, including excavation, bedding, pipe laying, backfilling, pressure testing, and reinstatement works.
* Familiarity with ductile iron (DI), HDPE, PVC, and GRP pipes, fittings, valves, and related accessories.
* Basic understanding of QA/QC procedures, HSE requirements, and applicable construction standards.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Microsoft Project or Primavera P is an advantage.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Fluency in both English and Arabic, written and spoken.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
* Coordinate and monitor excavation, pipe installation, bedding, backfilling, testing, and reinstatement works.
* Verify line and level, pipe alignment, and installation quality before inspections.
* Coordinate with the QA/QC team regarding inspections, material approvals, and testing activities.
* Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and promote safe working practices on site.
* Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, and other project disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
* Prepare daily progress reports, site records, and quantity measurements.
* Monitor productivity, identify site issues, and report progress and constraints to the Project Manager.
* Assist in testing, commissioning, preparation of as-built drawings, and project handover documentation.
