Job title: General Manager Engineer – Business Transformation & Growth Company Description Magnification Contracting Company (MCC) is a construction and engineering firm known for delivering projects with strength, precision, and integrity.
Role Description The General Manager Engineer – Business Transformation & Growth is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman and capable to travel for company branches.
This position oversees strategic planning, business development, and operational improvement initiatives across MCC’s concrete, steel, finishing, MEP, and rehabilitation services.
Daily responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, optimizing project delivery processes, and implementing systems that enhance efficiency, quality, and profitability.
The role also involves identifying new market opportunities, nurturing client relationships, preparing and reviewing proposals, and coordinating with technical and project teams to align business goals with engineering capabilities. The General Manager Engineer will monitor performance metrics, manage budgets, support talent development, and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
Strong background in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering with practical experience in concrete, steel, finishing, MEP, and rehabilitation projects.
Develop and execute a three-year strategic plan aligned with the company’s vision and growth objectives.
Establish clear strategic priorities and ensure effective execution across all departments.
Take overall responsibility for the company’s P&L, cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.
Monitor project profitability, cost control, collections, and financial risks.
Improve cash-flow management and ensure timely collection of receivables.
Work closely with finance and commercial teams to improve margins and overall profitability.
Establish effective performance-monitoring systems for Project Managers and site teams.
Identify underperforming projects and implement corrective action plans
Lead and improve the company’s tendering, estimating, pricing, and bid management processes.
Improve procurement strategies, supplier management, and purchasing controls.
Ensure competitive pricing and appropriate commercial terms from suppliers and subcontractors.
Lead the company’s business development strategy and client acquisition activities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, developers, and strategic partners.
Identify and pursue projects that match MCC’s technical capabilities, financial objectives, and risk appetite.
Increase the company’s pipeline of quality and profitable projects
