Position: Equipment maintenance supervisor

Job Location: Amman, Jordan
Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure that preventive maintenance and periodic checks of machines and technical areas are done according to approved procedures and completed within the set schedule.

Minimize machines’ breakdowns and breakdown time and ensure all machines are running optimally, troubleshoot and fix defects in production machines including electrical, mechanical, and control problems.
Conduct regular inspections of the production machines to Ensure that all machines are working in standard and good performance and solve any problem that may interrupt the machines’ ‌‎performance.‎
Supervise the installation of new production machines, to ensure their proper running after installation.
Review and write maintenance instructions for production machines including ‎writing all ‎related SOPs and forms.‎
Study the needed spare parts for production machines and classify them according to criticality.
Ensure proper documentation for all equipment section activities in accordance with SOPs, GDPs, and cGMP.
Suggest and implement process improvement and upgrade/renovation projects for production machines where applicable.
Fabrication of new size parts and change parts and wearable parts to sustain machine performance
Ensure compliance with relevant national and international health, safety, and environmental laws and policies as well as maintain the records and reports of HSE aspects.

Job Requirements:

Experience: 4-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical industries.
Education: BSc. in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering from a reputable university. (MBA is a plus).
Excellent computer skills in MS Excel and Word & AutoCAD.
Fluent in English.
Able to plan, analyze, organize, and follow up work effectively while focusing on quality towards excellence.
Able to make sound decisions that can benefit the organization and lead to the best outcomes.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
